The Traveller

This series of illustrations is inspired by my travels over the years. Using photographs taken during those journeys, I created a set of images that function as windows looking out from my home, an exploration of a past version of myself moving through the world. The aim was to capture the shapes and colours of real places and translate them into another dimension.

The visual approach uses the background to establish depth, while bright, vivid colours draw attention to specific areas within each illustration. The locations featured include Cornwall (United Kingdom), Osaka (Japan), and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
